About Water Filtration Duncanville

We are a water filtration company working inside homes in Duncanville and the surrounding area. Before we recommend any equipment, we test your water and look at your plumbing. That way the system we install matches the problem you actually have, not the one a sales sheet assumes.

Why we test before we recommend anything

Most water complaints have more than one possible cause. A rotten-egg smell from the hot side only often traces to the water heater's anode rod, not the supply. Orange stains can mean iron in the water or corroding galvanized pipe inside the walls. A chlorine taste is the disinfectant the city adds on purpose. Each needs a different fix, and some need no filter at all.

So our visits start with water testing. We check hardness, iron, chlorine, pH and total dissolved solids at your tap and walk you through each reading. When a question goes past what a field test can answer, such as lead from old solder or brass fixtures, we recommend an independent lab test. You see the same numbers we see.

Then we match equipment to the result. Activated carbon handles chlorine taste and odor. Under-sink reverse osmosis gives your drinking and cooking water a much tighter barrier. Iron and sediment filtration deals with particles and staining. A water softener goes on the list only when your hardness test supports it, because a softener on water that does not need one adds salt, upkeep and cost with nothing to show for it.

How we work in your home

  1. 01

    Results in writing

You get your test readings written down, along with a line-item estimate for anything we suggest. Each item is tied to a number from your test, so you can see why it is there.

  2. 02

A straight answer, even when it is not a filter

If the cause turns out to be the water heater, a failing fixture or the pipes themselves, we tell you. Selling a filter that cannot fix the real problem just brings us back to your door with an unhappy customer.

  3. 03

    Careful installs

We shut off the water, protect the floor under the work area and flush new cartridges before use so carbon fines do not reach your tap. We check every compression fitting for drips, then haul away the packaging and old parts.

  4. 04

    Maintenance you can plan for

Cartridges load up at different rates depending on sediment and chlorine levels, so we explain what sets your change interval and label each housing with its install date. Our filter replacement and maintenance visits keep the system working the way it tested on day one.

Where we test and install

Duncanville is our home base, and we also bring our test kit and tools to houses in DeSoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Grand Prairie, Glenn Heights, Ovilla, Cockrell Hill, Red Oak, Midlothian and Mansfield. Not every city on that list draws from the same source or treats it the same way, so a reading taken across a city line tells us little about the water at your kitchen faucet. That is why each visit begins at your own tap.

Start with a test, not a guess

Tell us what you are noticing, whether it is a taste, a stain or a smell. We will set up a visit, test your water and explain what the results mean before any equipment is discussed.
